[01h01] Dances with Dragons

Starting on the docks, you will need to eventually go to the War Room and talk with Mathiu, who will ask you to recruit the Dragon Knights. You get a choice:

I'd rather not go.{Try to say no, get leactured, and a loop begins}
*Let's go meet these Dragon Knights.
{Agree to recruit the Dragon Knights}

Once you've agreed, you will be automatically joined by Humphrey and Flik. You should leave. If you want more party members, simply go back in and talk to Sanchez. To speed things up, you may want to add Luikan, but that is not necessary at this point.

West of Antei (which was renamed from Bier Blanche after Milich was defeated) is the Dragon's Den [05b29]. You will be refused entrance. Fo to Antei and talk to Vincent de Boule and the Innkeeper. He will introduce himself and you will get a choice:

*Greetings, sir.
{Greet him politely}
*Sure, I'll bet.
{Doubt his claims}

Vincent asks you to pay his inn bill, and you will be forced into it. It costs 200 bits.

Return to the Dragon's Den and talk to Vincent, who will be waiting there. He shows you a secret passage. He refuses to accompany you, but you are free to enter and explore. In a wide cave, Flik and Humphrey will comment and you will all fall to the floor below, admists sleeping dragons. Milia and Futch challenge you, then lead you West, whcih eventually comes out in the World Map.

Keep going West until you get to the Fortress of the Dragon Knights [05a28].

Once you go upstairs and into the room, you will be thrown into an automatic conversationw ith Joshua, who will challenge you. You will be given a choice:

*We need your help.
{Ask him to join you, he confesses}
*Please let me fly on a dragon.
{Force a confession out of him}

Joshua will explain that the dragons are sleeping and the only person who can help is Luikan. If you do not have him, you should go retrieve him to continue the story. If you do have him, that's fine. Once you have Luikan there, he will have you all go back to the Dragon's Den, where he will isnpect the dragons. He'll then explain about their poisoning and ask you to get three ingrediants (one of which he'll tell later).

Luikan will stay behind, but you'll get Milia and Thrash (Thrash can only be used to go back and forth to Seek Valley).

You will need to go on to Seek Valley for the first ingrediant.

[01h02] Is This What You Seek>?

In Seek Valley [05b31], you will be able to follow the paths. Mace will not join you unless you bring all of the Blacksmiths with you, and sicne you automatically have Milia, Futch, and Humphrey, that may not be possible until later. The path North will take you along the way you need to go. However, at the intersection, it's wise to check health, etc. before continuing.

The Boss is a Crystal Core [03c], and it has two forms. The first form seems pretty impervious to magic, but can only attack one person a round. The second form is more dangerous, but is vulnerable to magic. Once the Crystal Core has been defeated, you can continue on.

You will eventually wind up in front of the Moonlight Weed, but Windy will arrive and bring Ted with her as a prisoner/ slave. Ted asks you to return the Soul Eater, to which you have a choice:

*Return Soul Eater.
{Agree, but...}
*Don't return Soul Eater.
{Refuse, but...}

Whatever your decision, a spell happens and Ted talks to you in your mind. He tells you he is possessed and asks forgiveness for what he is going to do next. After that, he is no longer in your mind, and asks for the Rune, to which you have a choice:

*I will not give you the Soul Eater.
{Refuse}
*All right. I'll give it to you.
{Agree, but...}

No matter what you say, Ted has control temporarily over his body. He commands the Soul Order to eat his soul, which it does. You are finally able to use the final spell: Judgement. Windy tries to get to you, but the Soul Eater protects you. She disappears, as does Ted, and it can only be assumed that he has finally died. Milia takes the Moonlight Weed and to continue you will need to go to Thrash.

Inside the castle, Joshua and Luikan are waiting for you. Once you've talked to them, they'll tell you that Futch and Black have gone for the second ingrediant, Black Dragon Orchid. You will get a cut-scene of Black flying, then Futch will be in the Gregminster Floating Gardens [05a29]. You will have minimal control of Futch yourself. Talking to the first large plant should trigger Barbarossa showing up and ordering Futch to leave. Futch can run to his dragon and will automatically fly, but Windy will show up and attack, causing them to fall from the sky.

As the screen fades back in, Futch is in bed surrounded by people. Luikan tells everyone that the dragons are awake and safe, due to Black's sacrifice. His death provided the Dragon's Liver which was the third ingrediant. The screen fades and Humphrey and Flik are talking to Tir when the screen returns. If you return upstairs, you can recruit Joshua, Futch, and Milia immediately.

Milia offers you a ride back to the castle on Thrash, to which you get a choice:

*

(Stay behind to do other things)
