Each sponsoring store will run three qualifiers. Our initial recommendation was for $5 entry constructed tournaments or limited tournaments with an equivalent markup over the cost of the product, and no prizes except for the first place prize, an invitation to compete in the Ontario City Championship Finals. Several stores have stated their intention to have higher entrance fees but also give away prizes for the qualifier. Please check the list below carefully. Qualifiers are listed alphabetically by store. Regardless of other prizes, the first place finisher in each qualifier will receive an invitation to the OCC Finals. Additionally, at the end of the third tournament at each store, each player's total match points across all three tournaments will be added up (win = 3 points, draw = 1, loss = 0) and the player with the most total points will be awarded an invitation to the finals. Ties will be broken at random by the store. Entry to qualifiers will be open to any player who does not already hold an invitation to the OCC Finals.
