The Ontario City Challenge is a tournament circuit where players will compete at local stores to win an invitation to the Ontario City Challenge Finals, which will be held in late summer. Each sponsoring store will hold three qualifying tournaments before this, with the only awarded prize being an invitation to the finals. Additionally, the player who gets the most wins across the three tournaments without winning one will also receive an invitation. Those four players will then represent their store and thus their city at the OCC Finals. Competition at the Finals will be on an individual basis, with players competing in Standard, Duplicate Sealed and Rochester draft play for the cash prizes. Additionally, the team that does the best will receive valuable bonus foils as well as a plaque for their store. |
