Before you can put Adsense ads on your web site you have to sign up for an account. And before your account is activated, your web site has to be approved by Google.

The first reason is because your site doesn't have enough content. Google won't accept your web site if it doesn't have enough content (for example, if it only has 1 page).
The second reason why it doesn't pass Google's inspection is because your web site is currently under construction. If your site is brand new and you still haven't finished it, you probably won't be accepted into the program.
So what can you do if you really want an account right now but you're afraid your web site will not be accepted?

Blogger is a service offered by Google that provides Web-based tools that individuals can use to create their own free web log.
All you need to do is create an account at blogger and post a couple of entries to your new blog. Then just create an Adsense account and give Google your blogger URL. They should approve it within a few hours!
And the best part is, once you have your first site approved, you don't need to tell Google about any of your other web sites! All you needed was the approval of one web site. Once you've done that, you're free to insert the Adsense code onto all your other web sites.
This is great if you're currently working on a large web site but don't want to have to wait until it's finished before you sign up for your Adsense account.
One thing you should keep in mind is that if any of your web sites break the rules, and someone reports it to Google, they can ban those web sites or ask you to make appropriate changes. |
