| The Mares |

| Our breeding program starts with the mares. We carefully consider each mare's good qualities and imperfections. We do not have a herd stallion because a single stallion does not "fit" all mares. We search for the right type of sire, visit him a few times to determine his disposition, and look him over in person before we have a mare bred. Our mares are not just broodmares, they are all trained to carry a rider. Each mare is unique in her own way, one mare is a Wildland Search & Rescue horse, one is being prepped to be part of an Equine Assisted Physical Therapy program, and one is a lesson horse.
