Week 4 NCAAF Rankings September 12, 2004: Well, here we are again; time for my college football rankings. This week will be much tougher than last without a doubt. It went from no top 25 teams losing to a whopping six. Six! Plus there were some--like Georgia, Texas, and Ohio State--that had to fight surprisingly hard for a win. My NCAAF Rankings September 5, 2004: Yesterday was an exciting day for college football. No top-ranked team got upset, but there were some close calls (like LSU and Clemson). The fact that everyone who was supposed to win won (unless you thought Toledo would upset Minnesota) would lead most people to believe the rankings shouldn't be changed. But there's where you're wrong. Some teams showed they were a lot stronger than others, while some showed that they're weaker than many expected. And so here is my personal new and improved top twenty-five teams list. Read on... |

NCAAF Predictions August 28, 2004: College football starts tonight as USC takes on Virginia Tech at 7:30 p.m. I'm a little late, but I've still got time to make my predictions. In an ESPN/USA Today coaches poll, USC is, not surprisingly, first, followed by (also not surprisingly) Oklahoma, LSU, and Georgia. In fifth is Miami. Sixth is Florida State, seventh is Michigan, and eighth is Texas. OSU and Florida round out the top ten. But, remember, these rankings don't always hold up. Who will really have the best year of these ten? And what unranked team will shock everyone by playing surprisingly well? I'll let you know what I think. Read on... |
