In the days following September 11, 2001, as Americans learned they were living in a New Amerika controlled by a Shadow Government, publicly announced by President George W. Bush, and that that New Amerika was run by a new set of rules embracing all the ideals of a police state, many of you experienced a renewed interest in the history and the secret machinations that brought about that Shadow Government. One of those conspiracy theories of history, already ranking near the very top, was the so-called Gemstone Files. It presented what its author, Bruce Roberts, claimed was in effect an "alternative history" covering the years 1932-1975, when Roberts died. Many articles have been written about this bizarre account of events, and many books, TV shows and movies have been made based on it, including Conspiracy Theory with Mel Gibson, The Rock with Sean Connery, and Diamonds Are Forever with Sean Connery. Until now, no one has ever told the true story of that mystery called The Gemstone Files. It is more than just an "alternate history" of a very narrow time frame of 1932-1975. What you are about to read is, in effect, A Brief History of Planet Earth, going back to the very beginnings - before time itself. This is a story that is continually being updated, revised and, in some instances, corrected as new data becomes available. It is not the just the story of the past, but also the present and the future. This doesn't pretend to be the answer to all the questions surrounding the events described herein. It is more of a starting point for future researchers and historians. I have been a professional writer, journalist, editor, photographer, political activist, scientist - so many things in my life - but I must admit this is the most exhausting, most comprehensive work I have ever produced, or perhaps ever will. Some of us are lucky (or cursed) enough to come face to face with our purpose on this planet in this lifetime. What you are about to read is not just something thrown together in a few weeks to grace the pages of yet another web site. It is literally a life's work, one which I myself will most likely not live long enough to complete. So it will be up to you, a new generation who must live with the consequences of what those before you have done, both in the name of Good and of Evil, to continue. I pass the torch to you ... take it and run with it ... and God speed. NOTE: After this website was designed in MS FrontPage 2000, Yahoo/Geocities announced, for some odd reason, they would no longer accept FrontPage publishing. As a result, there are a lot of things that now don't work right - including photos, links and last update times. It will take considerable time and effort to correct these problems, going through tens of thousands of lines of code. Your patience is appreciated. You will be able to find the Table of Contents at the left on the Index Page (Home Page) and also on a page of its own. All frames are being removed to eliminate a lot of repetitious work and to satisfy the search engines (they don't like frames!) What you will be initially reading is a first draft - and as such has many errors, both typographical and in fact. The computer went belly up as I was nearing completion of the final draft and I lost everything, including the backups. I did find a first draft copy and so that's where we'll start.
