Hi! It's just me: Ed DeWitt.
Don't know if you're someone from an old school I attended (that don't narrow it down a whole lot!), a job I've worked (not much of a narrow down there either!), someone from a church I've been associated with (Hi Brother and Sister!), or just a wrong number... Anyway, "Hi, y'all. And welcome to the most boring page on the net." Please excuse my spelling; I have a mind like a steel trap - but it's been out in the rain way too long! Can't spell. Never could!
This page is just a little personal history about a person whose next big day will be to meet the Savior and explain all the opportunities I wasted and all the things I did wrong. Good thing eternity has no end... It'll take me a while!
I'll start off with education. I finished good ol' GHS back in the mid 60's and then carted myself off to the Grand Rapids (Michigan) Baptist Bible College. I also did a little time at the Baptist Bible College of Springfield, Missouri, University of Maryland, Northeast Louisiana State, Louisiana Baptist College, the Baptist Bible Institute of Washington, Illinois (Great school! I recommend it for the quality of its education and faculty! Sound Biblical teaching.), and the good old USAFI (United States Armed Forces Institute) where I studied the Vietnamese language in classes down at Ft. Bliss in Texas (Note that I said "studied" and not "learned."), and just about every type of "CLEP" type course I could get my hands on. I have an A.A. in General Studies from Carl Sandburg Junior College, a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Western Illinois University, Both a Th.B. and Th.M. from the American Bible College, and an earned D.D. (I know that you're not supposed to be able to "earn" this degree - But, I did!) from the Kingsway Bible College (via the International Deliverance Churches). Currently I'm takeing some courses from the Eagle Bible College. I've also completed several other courses and studies. I've done some work myself, most notably on Dispensationalism and the TR. Whew! Not bad for somebody that can't spell!
