| Personal information: I may be somewhat larger than you remember me. I held between 145 -150 pounds all the way through high school until I entered the military. After 12 years (active and reserve - SSG/E-6) I failed a "re-up" physical by two pounds (192 - they wanted no more than 190). I've been somewhat above that ever since! Got a couple of "I was here and wasn't too bad" type of militay metals. The only one I was really proud of was my Combat Infantry Badge. That one I earned! I was married to Linda (Guenther) on September 22, 1968 until her death on 15 May 2000.. We've got two kids - Amy and Ethan. Both kids have mostly worked in the health care field. Two grandkids - Ethan's. Shandi will turn seven in September and Elijah is going to be four years old very soon. Both, also, are already jealous of the other. Eli keeps saying he is already seven since that would make him older than Shandi. Shandi just rolls her big blue eyes and goes to play on the computer. Ethan and Jacind just got an American Bulldog pup. He calls it "Louie" from some song I never heard. The dog is now eight months old and is a big bean bag for Eli to play with. Those two have a relationship! Meanwhile, when not babysitting, Grandpa's main function is to keep candy on hand for Shandi and Eli. I give them candy and they love me for it. When the "sugar high" hits, I tell mom and dad to take their kids back. The kids still love me; I didn't discipline them!. Pictures of the grand kids are shown later in the site. Shandi is in kindergarten and learning to read. Eli is in preschool and has learned to count pretty well. Amy has moved down to Kentucky recently and is still settling in. |

| It's hard to believe that we'd been married for more than a decade when this picture was taken. Now it's a quarter of a century since the picture was taken. Time don't last long. Memories last longer. But, eternity is forever. Where are our priorities? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| I've qualified for (but let membership lapse - gotta re-join, it is a great club!) the high IQ group MENSA. Same story for INTERTEL. MENSA is for the top 2% of the IQ's and INTERTEL is for the top 1%. Took the test for the ISPE (the top 0.1%) with a score of... Well, let's just say that I ain't in thier percentage! Not even close! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
