| Welcome to our ranks! There a few basic things you should know about our guild. These are simply to help you understand our ways. * Guild chat is in character (IC) and should be RP (role-play). We do have an OOC (out-of-character) channel for regular discussion which can be accessed by typing "/join coe" in your chat window. This channel should be used for conversations that are not RP, and guild chat should always be in character. * Our website is www.guilduniverse.com/childrenofeternity. After registering on the site you can create a character bio and access the guild-only forums. This also provides access to the "Tome of the Adept" so that you only have to remember one site. If you would like to return to guilduniverse from the Tome, return to this "Basics" page and click the link above. * If you need to contact a member of the guild but are unable to in-game, you can leave them a message by accessing their bio on the guilduniverse site. * It is suggested that you choose a role in our guild. It can be functional or RP. A list of roles can be found at the "Roles and Teams" tab on the right. Choosing a guild team/role is necessary to rank up in the guild. * You may also climb the ranks in our guild! Info on requirements can be found on the "Ranks" tab on the right. * We do have a guild bank. It is maintained by a character named Coe, who you will find in our in-game roster/guild tab. If you would ever like to donate something when the bank tabs are full or experience problems, send her or Avalyndrae an in-game mail. * Please visit the guild tab in your social menu in-game to view our manifest. This will always show you the latest guild news (as will our guilduniverse website). * We do hold and host events. Be sure to watch the guild news. You might also find the GroupCalendar add-on helpful. We currently use GroupCalendar for raid sign-ups. |
