    ABOUT MITCHELL

Frew-Ju is a freak. He has been turning heads for years even though he is still very young. His repertoire of moves seems to be unlimited, from Gorf’s , solid Dropkneeing, tweaked inverts and ARS’s are pulled on a regular basis.
Groveling and contests don’t interest Mitch at all at the moment and often only surfs if it is worth going out. Lately his surfing has been kept to a minimum due to a back injury, but I’m sure it won’t slow him down one bit when he gets back into it.
My prediction (and probably everyone else’s too) is that he will go very far with is Bodyboarding in years to come.

    Interview questions

Hayden) Last year you traveled to Rarotonga and scored some solid waves. Any plans to go back?
Mitchell) mmm…Yep, for sure. Uncrowded sickness.

Hayden) Did you find the solid reef waves harder to surf?
    Mitchell) Yep. Really scary

Hayden) You’re probably getting sick of this question by now. Why don’t you go in contests?
Mitchell) Basically one of the main reasons is because I just love to Boog and there is no pressure on me and I can do what I want, no team commitments. I came to Bodyboarding after other sports where I was feeling too much pressure and wasn’t enjoying it. The reason I don’t go in comps is because I don’t want the pressure and nervousness. I also don’t really have the desire to win, I just love to Boog.

Hayden) How’d you injure your back?
Mitchell) Too many inverts. It didn’t just happen like from one move, it just slowly got worse and worse, The waves were really good for a while so I just kept going out when I should have listened to what my back was telling me, but I just ignored it and now I’m paying the price.

Hayden) What is good Bodyboarding to you?
Mitchell) Basically big, fat, powerful carves; critical spins and hitting big death sections then busting psycho twisted moves.
