You guys have a pretty rad coast line with numerous sick waves such as
beachies, reefs and points scattered all over the place, all of which are
overlooked by the snow covered Mount Egmont, what is it like being a booger
down there?
Anthony) Well the good things
are, all the break's and how close they are. If there are no waves the
next day there are parties most of the time, full with chicks! (Hemi Holden
loves the place for that!!)
But the bodyboarding side
is getting worse for the place. There is no one really pushing it at all
any more, less people, and defiantly no support from any shops. Me and
Simon try and surf as much as we can, but its a bit
hard cause he's still at
school and stuff. (he does bunk a bit though, ha ha ).

What is your favourite surfspot and what is it like?
Anthony) The Fitzroy stretch,
(beaches) When its big at can handle anything from what I've seen. its
really powerful and round, the groin has the sickest air bowls. We have
a fun reef out at bell block that gets pretty sick to, you have to paddle
a distance out to it but its worth it. Its a left and breaks shallow as.

Who are the main guys you surf with in Taras and how do they surf? Are
there many young up and coming groms in the area?
Anthony) Well there aren't
many guys pushing it at all, its almost got me looking for a better job,
But i try and surf with Simon (Saggy) when he doesn't have school, and
he surfs pretty sick, Im thinking of moving to were there are more guys.
But im really want guys to come here, I have to board at the end of the
year, so if anyone's keen?
I haven't seen any young
guys round.

Apart form bodyboarding what sort of antics do you get up to in Taras?
Anthony) Um I like to go
out with friends alot. Probably to much, I think that's what's scares some
guys away, the whole Taras party scene, to much of it.
Um I go swimming alot at
night. My good friends live on my street so we just hang out and stuff,
Getting music of Napsters sick.

What are you currently doing with your life a the moment and what are your
plans and goals for the future?
Anthony) I'm still working
at the courier post, Only for 3, 1/2 hours a day so that leaves heaps of
time to surf, im getting
another car next week so
that's going to be sweet!!
I think next years going
to be the one for me, im defiantly going over seas a couple or more times,
we will have to see what happens.

Rumor has it that you are a bit of a hard-core partier and part-time porn
star would you like to elaborate on that for us?
Anthony) I do go out alot,
but its going to be cut down that's for sure!( need the money!!) Also I
got pretty drunk on friday, and I was biking down to the Caltex at about
4am and somehow I fell of. One of my friends was coming back from town
and found me on the footpath, I had to go in an ambo to the hospital, but
I can't remember, I have stitches in my mouth, nose, and chin, its not
worth it! The porn star thing ha ha I don't know what u have herd
but keep it to yourself.
