After spending countless hours trying to find basic information on New Vogue dancing on websites, online shops,in book stores, libraries and video stores , I was unable to find anything that I thought was really worthwhile for Beginner to Intermediate Dancers.
Thers is plenty of background information, and also numerous step lists, however I have found these hard to follow if you dont already know the steps.
Basically all I was looking for were simple tips for an enthusiastic but inexperienced dancer who knew only a couple of the social scene dances.
I decided to make my own website where I could put information that has helped me along the way, so I can use it for future reference (Every good Dancer knows you have to go back to basics every now and then.) and hopefully give anyone else who is currently learning at a beginner level or wishing to learn New Vogue some useful tips.
As this site is directed purely toward Beginners, I havent included all the New Vogue Dances for the simple reason that the dances I have omitted are taught at a higher level and would be of little or no use to the Beginner.
Remember-- Its never too late or too early to learn to dance! Its a wonderful social attribute.
