Gypsy Tap
This dance is a lot of fun! Its a little more tricky than the other dances in this "March Rhythm" catergory (Evening 3 Step and Barn Dance) but it is most definantly worth the effort.
Gypsy Tap is also done progressively and you might often see people enthusiastically skipping this dance outside pf the LOD, as complicated as that may look once you have mastered the Gypsy Tap you will find it easy to progress to the skip.

This dance begins in
Promenade Positon , changes to Counter Promenade Position then briefly adopts Open Extended Hold.
That sounds more complicated than it is,  moving from PP to CPP is simply a change of direction and as you change the direction of your feet you body will almost naturally move from one position to the next with little effort or even thought.

Verbal cues I used (and continue to use) are:

Walk, Walk, Side, Close      
Side, Close, Side, Close
Walk, Walk, Side, Close

Side, Close, Side, Close
Walk, Walk, Side, Close

Walk, Walk, Side, Turn  (to face the LOD)
