My name is Jisoo Kim and I am a Junior in Paul D. Schreiber High School. I was born in Korea and was raised in a town called Shin-nae-dong. It was a strange, yet wonderful town. It was in Seoul, which is the biggest city in South Korea, but it was almost like a country village. I remember playing among the berry bushes and pear farm, and chasing frogs to make them my pet. Of course, they died because of my overly-caring treatment to them; I would force them to eat every hour or so and changed water almost every single day. I had to say good-bye to my childhood when I came to America. I was ten years old. I went through and still going through my adolescence in Port Washington. It is hard for me to describe myself. I know that I like watching movies, reading good novels, and sleeping and eating like most teenagers. I play violin, paint landscapes, cook for my brother, and sometimes get into fights with my parents for silly things. But these are only small parts of me. If you wish to find out more about my belief and thoughts, please read my essays below!
