1 - FRI -NEW YORK/CAIRO
Board your EgyptAir jet and begin your
journey back in time to this charming, ancient land.
DAY 2 - SAT - CAIRO
Afternoon arrival in Cairo, where your Nile
Tours and Cruises. representative will meet, assist and transfer
you to your hotel. (D)
DAY 3 - SUN - CAIRO CITY
TOUR
This
morning your guide introduces you to the masterpieces of ancient
art in The Egyptian Museum, including the treasures of
Tutankhamun. Drive to Old Cairo, where early Judaism and
Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit Ben Ezra Synagogue and
Saint Sergius Church. After lunch drive to the Islamic quarter
to stroll the Great Citadel begun by Saladin and visit the
Mohammed All Mosque, also known as the “Alabaster Mosque.
Enjoy a walking tour of the colorful Khan El Khalihi Bazaar

DAY 4 - MON
-CAIRO/ASWAN/ABU SIMBEL
This
morning you will take a flight to AbuSlinbel Visit the Great
Temple of Ramses II, and the smaller Temple of Queen Nefertari.
After Visiting this magnificent site, take a short flight to Aswan
Once there, your FIT host will assist and transfer you to
your delux hotel. (B/D)
DAY 5 - TUE -ASWAN
Breakfast,
then you will be met by your
FIT, representatives and transferred to your luxury cruise ship
for a 5 day/4 night Nile cruise. Afternoon felucca sail to view
Elephantine Island the Nilometer built by the Pharaohs and the
Agha Khan Mausoleum (B/L/D)
DAY 6 - WED - ASWAN/KOM
OMBO/EDFU
Before
leaving Aswan you will pay a visit to the awesome Aswan dams,
Phila Temple, and the massive Unfinished Obelisk in the Granite
Quarry Set sail down river this afternoon to visit the imposing
Ptolemaic Temple of Kom Ombo. Sail to Edfu for overnight (B/L/D)
DAY 7 - THU -EDFU/LUXOR
This
morning travel by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horns —considered
to be the apex of Egyptian architecture, Then sail to Luxor. (B/L/D)
DAY 8 - FRI- LUXOR
Cross
the Nile today to visit the world renowned Valley of the Kings,
Queens and the Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Then on to
the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon visit Luxor Temple, dedicated
to the God AmonRa. It was expanded by Ramses II, who added
statues of himself. Then go on to visit the magnificent Karnak
Temple. This evening you will enjoy a Sound & Light Show
presentation at Karnak Temple. Overnight in Luxor (B/L/D)
DAY 9 - SAT -LUXOR/DENDERAH/LUXOR
Morning
drive to Quena to visit Denderah, one of the most beautiful
Egyptian complexes dedicated to Hathor, Goddess of life and
fertility. Back to Luxor for overnight.
DAY 10 - SUN -LUXOR/HURGHADA
After
breakfast drive from Luxor to your hotel at the Red Sea resort
of Hurghada. (B/D)
DAY 11 - MON -HURGHADA
Breakfast
and a day at leisure for swimming, diving or just relaxing by
the beach. (B/D)
DAY 12 - TUE -HURGHADA
Enjoy
the beautiful beach of Hurghada. Relax at your
hotel, dinner and overnight. (B/D)
DAY 13 - WED -
HURGHADA/CAIRO
Breakfast
and transfer to Hurghada airport for your flight back to Cairo,
where you will be met and transferred to your hotel to have the
balance of the day at leisure. (B/D)
DAY 14 - THU -
GIZA/MEMPHIS/SAKKARA
After
breakfast, a scenic drive to the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza,
which have stood for the last 5,000 years. Complete your visit
at Giza with a tour of the Solar Boat Museum. After lunch,
continue onto ancient Memphis, the first capital of united Upper
and Lower Egypt and Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser.
This evening, return to the Pyramids area for a Sound and Light
Show presentation. (B/L/D)
DAY 15 - FRI -CAIRO/NEW
YORK
After
breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo airport for your
departure flight on EgyptAir (B)
