Day 1 - Fri -New York/Cairo

Board your EgyptAir non-stop flight to Cairo and begin your journey back in time to this charming, ancient land.

Day 2 - Sat - Cairo

Arrival in Cairo, your Nile tours and Cruises. representative will meet, assist and transfer you to your hotel. (D)

Day 3 - Sun -Cairo - city tour

This morning your guide introduces you to the masterpieces of ancient art in the Egyptian Museum, including the treasures of Tutankhamun Drive to Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue and Saint Serguis Church. After Lunch drive to the Islamic quarter to stroll the Great Citadel begun by Saladin and visit the Mohammed Ali Mosque, also known as the Alabaster Mosque”. Enjoy a walking tour of the colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaar district. (B/L/D)

Day 4 - Mon - Cairo - Giza/Memphis and Sakkara

After breakfast, a scenic drive will take you to the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza which have stood for the last 5000 years. Complete your visit at Giza with a tour of the Solar Boat Museum. After lunch, continue onto ancient Memphis, the first capital of united Upper and Lower Egypt, and Sakkara, site of the Step Pyramid of Zoser. This evening return to the Pyramids area for a Sound & Light Show presentation. (B/L/D)

Day 5 - Tue - Cairo/ Abu Simbel /Aswan

This morning, you will take a flight to Abu Simbel. Visit the great Temple of Ramses II, and smaller Temple of Queen Nefertari. After visiting this magnificent site, take a short flight to Aswan. Once there, your FIT host will assist and transfer you to your luxury cruise ship for a 5 day/4 night cruise. Afternoon felucca sail to view Elephantine Island the Nilometer built by the Pharaohs, and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. In the evening visit one of the Aswans most lovely bazaars. (B/L/D)

Day 6 - Wed - Aswan/Kom Ombo/EDFU

Before leaving Aswan, you will pay a visit to the awesome Aswan dams, Philae Temple and gaze at the massive Unfinished Obelisk in the Granite Quarry Set sail down river this afternoon to visit the Temple of Korn Onto. Sail to Edfu. (B/L/D)

Day 7 - Thu - Edfu/Luxor

Visit the Edfu Temple today. It is considered to be the apex of Egyptian architecture. Then sail to Luxor this evening. (B/L/D)

Day 8 - Fri - Luxor

Cross the Nile today to visit the world renowned Valley of the Kings, Queens and the Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Then on to the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon visit to Luxor Temple, dedicated to (God Amon-Ra. It was expanded by Ramses II, who added statues of himself. Then go on to visit the magnificent Karnak Temple. This evening, you will enjoy a Sound & Light Show presentation at Karnak Temple. Overnight in Luxor. (B/L/D)

Day 9 - Sat -Luxor/Sharm El Sheikh

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Sharm El Sheikh and overnight at your deluxe hotel (B/D).  

Day 10 - Sun -Sharm El Sheikh

A day of sun and sea to plan as you like. Why not go diving in Ras Mohammed underwater nature reserve or sign up for an optional trek to a desert Bedouin Camp. (B/D). 

Day 11 - Mon. -Sharm El Sheikh/ St. Catherine

Today visit St. Catherine your way by scheduled bus. Try either a day tour to visit the Monastery only and have lunch on your way back, or a night tour to climb Mt. Sinai. Watch an unforgettable sunrise and then visit the Monastery. Back to Sharm El Sheikh. (B/D)

Day 12 - Tue -Sharm El Sheikh

A free day to enjoy the beaches of Sharm El Sheikh. (B/D)

Day 13 - Wed -Sharm El Sheikh/Cairo

Return flight from Sharm El Sheikh back to Cairo, with balance of the day at your leisure. (B/D)

Day 14 - Thu -Cairo

Day at leisure to explore this fascinating city on your own and catch up with your last minute shopping. (B/D)
