The oldest street rod in the Club is Phil's Daimler C Cab. Phil built this during the 70's and other than a change in paint it remains the same classic.

For something different Phil used a 2.5 litre Daimler hemi V8 and auto for power. The body is completely hand made by Phil and sits on an early Riley chassis. The independent front end is torsion bar and there are disc brakes all round.

Rob's 38 Chev coupe is nicknamed 'The Fridge' and has only been on the road for a couple of years.

It runs a hot 400 smallblock Chev and Rob uses it to the max whether it be the local 1/8th mile drags or just an excuse to go cruising. The rear BFGs are wrapped around some classic Cragar SS rims and get a regular, smokey workout.

Brian Simpkins is better known for his award winning 62 Chev ragtop. His toy is this 36 Ford coupe again running a 350 / 350 combination.

There have been a few changes since Brian has owned the coupe and it now sports chromed bumpers and headlamps. Looks like there will be another winner here.

Some say a true hot rod should be RED and a Ford - Terry's Model A Tudor is both. It's even powered by a 289 smallblock Ford through a C4 auto to a Mk4 Zephyer independent rear.

This rod's an old show car that still looks really good cruising down the road. Terry uses the A almost daily and you often see it cruising through town.

Only finished very recently - Aarons Model A "tub" was originally a tudor.  The roof came off and major body rework was carried out by Gary Pulley from Tauranga.

Aaron had alot of help and encouragement from his Dad, Terry, who owns the red A Tudor above.  Terry made and upholstered the tub's interior for Aaron and one day there maybe something to keep out the Northland rain.  Until that time Aaron just enjoys cruising to the 'max'.
