| The Goblingod is a fantasy saga, inspired by my love of J.R.R Tolkien, Terry Brooks, and later other writers such as Terry Goodkind and Robert Jordan. I have had a passion for fantasy nearly as long as I have had a passion for writing...I wrote my first story book 'Susan and the Bear' when I was just five years old! The Goblingod began life when I was just thirteen years old. I had just read the Lord of the Rings for the second time, I had even attempted to write a fantasy book before... I wrote six chapters of a story called 'The Crystillian', and subsequently lost it when I moved house! The Goblingod saga began as an idea for one book, twenty-odd chapters in length that I wrote and re-wrote until by the age of fifteen it was, in my opinion at that time finished. I even had illusions about getting it published back before I left school. However, during the next three years during colege and before university I went back, using this first draft more as source material then an earlier version and began crafting this huge story I had created into a more comprehensible series of novels. This development continued until I had written a draft which I hope is going to be close to the final version, of the first book in the saga, 'Ellerigan Quest'. |

| One of my aims for this website is to showcase my work for agents, publishers and and anyone else who may express and interest in my work. You can click on my guestbook below and tell me what you think of what you've read and seen...I want advice and comments from friends, family and anyone else who expresses an interest in what I do. |

| The Goblingod Saga has now become a five book saga, the second being 'Shadow In the Darkness' and the third, which has been left a quater way completed, 'Call Of Heroes', Whilst the near final drafts have been completed for the first two novels, I have left the Goblingod for at least the next year to begin working on two much shorter fantasy novels. The first, 'Blood Souls' was completed last summer (August 2002) and I am currently looking for an agent to take me and this novel on, while I begin work on a sequel to it. The reason behind this change, after seven years working on the Goblingod, is to get my work published, and I have come to realise that an agent, and therefore a publisher is not going to put their money into a five-book saga by a first time writer. I am using 'Blood Souls' as a springboard into becoming a proffessional writer, along with my completely different piece of writing, a sitcom called 'Would You Like Fries With That?'. Together with the work as a director and writer in helping to set up a new film company 'Excelsior Kings Pictures', I am intent on establishing myself, so that in a few years time I will fufill my goal and get The Goblingod Saga published.
