The goal is to use new words in interesting ways.  The poetry wall is a fun way to fix the word in your memory, especially if you are a person who learns by doing something or by seeing something.    Here is the procedure:  1) print a list of words on white paper, usually 72 point (about 2.5 centimeters tall).  2) Cut each word.  3) Put the words on the wall with blue tack on the back.  You can find blue tack at an office supply store.   Watch the poems appear when other students find the wall!  They will put their words on the wall, too!
