What is MOMS Club®?

MOMS Offering MOMS Support is a non-profit support group specifically for stay-at-home mothers. Affiliated with the international organization of over 100,000 members, MOMS Club® of Topeka-North, KS offers daytime activities for mothers and their children.

How do I become a member of MOMS Club®?

You simply fill out a membership Information and Liability form and pay the $25.00 annual dues. This can be given to any board member or mailed to the secretary.

How do I volunteer or make suggestions about the group?

Call, e-mail, or talk to a board member at an event. If you want your suggestion to be anonymous, a suggestion box is available at monthly business meetings.

Who do I contact if I meet someone who is interested in MOMS Club®?

The President or Membership VP would love to hear of moms you have met that are interested in our group. A prospective new member letter, brochure, membership information, and liability sheet`will be mailed to interested mothers.

When do I need to renew my membership dues?

Your $25.00 dues are renewable annually. Your name will appear in the newsletter the month before your membership needs to be renewed. You must also fill out a new information/liability form, available at any event from the secretary.

Can my child attend all MOMS Club® activities?

Yes! Bring your children. Children may attend all MOMS Club® activities and often our activities are geared towards them.

May I bring children, other than my own, to MOMS Club® activities?

Yes, as long as you have a permission slip, a liability release and a medical release, all three signed by both parents of the child. These forms are available at any event, contact any board member.

How do I find out about the Bylaws?
The bylaws are the guidelines by which all MOMS Club® groups operate. Copies of the bylaws are available; contact any board member.

What is Tot Watch and when can I volunteer for it?

Tot Watch is the children’s room, available at monthly meet & greet meetings, for children over the age of 12 months. Age appropriate activities and a snack are provided. Members are assigned throughout the year. Questions can be directed to the Tot Watch Coordinator.

May I solicit home business products or services at meetings or activities?

MOMS Club® understands that at-home mothers often sell products or services from home for various reasons; however, we kindly ask that no solicitation of any kind takes place at MOMS Club® sponsored activities.

May I advertise my home business in the newsletter?

Yes. You may purchase ad space for $2.00 if a member or $5.00 if a nonmember. The ad must be the size of a business card. Submit your payment along with the information to the Newsletter Coordinator by the 15^th of the month before you would like your ad to appear.

What is the MOMS Club® roster for?

The roster is strictly for use of MOMS Club®. No mass mailings, solicitation of goods and services, or promotion of religious or political groups are permitted. Please enjoy the roster to get together with friends on the days when no MOMS Club® activities are planned.

May I smoke, drink, or do drugs at MOMS Club® activities?
