Armies must be chosen from
these lists:
Armies of the Thirty Years War (Book 2, Lists 12-16)
Armies of the Great Rebellions (Book 2, Lists 17-24)
In addition these armies are also included in this period:
Venetian Italian (Book 1, List 6)
Transylvanian (Book 1, List 20)
Low Countries Spanish (Book 1, List 44)
Dutch Rebellion (Book 1, List 45)
Russian Traditional (Book 2, List 4)
Polish-Lithuanian Rzeczpospolita (Book 2 List 7)
Early Gustavian Swedish (Book 2, List 8)
Free Cossack (Book 2, List 9)
Braganza Portuguese (Book 3, List 33)
Brandenburg-Prussia (Book 3, List 41)
Later Polish (Book 3, List 46)
*** All lists are restricted to options from 1618-1648 AD, with
the exception of Venetian Italians who may choose an army from 1606-1617.
***
You may submit two army lists before 27 August, or one list after
that date. If you submit two, then both selections must be from the same
army list and from the same date and nationality, dynasty, geographic,
regional and political sub-division (including the same general or leader
if this affects troop choice). The decision on which selection to use is
written down when nominating a season of the year at the beginning of the
game.
The theme for PoP 2006 will be "Early Wars" focussing
on Western European armies before 1540 AD.
