Northern Canoe Polo

The National League took a new format, with teams competing in a Round Robin event in each island before competing at two tournaments for final placings. Travel equalisation was arranged, although it could be argued that holding the final tournament in Christchurch was an abject waste of time and money- only two teams were competing fron Mainland.

The Hurricettes improved over the day, and by putting pressure on the Vesta backline, were able to then turn over possession to shoot some easy goals. Vesta will be looking to improve passing skills and team tactical play for the next competition in Wellington.
