| This area is between the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn, making it a tropical climate. The warmth and humidity reflect it's position to the equator. The highlands and lowlands make differing climates within the region itself. The Lowlands experience an equatorial climate, which means that there are little differences in the climate throughtout the entire year. THe Highlands are tropical, and recieve a slightly cooler temperature of 18-19 degrees celcius throughout the year. It can rain up to 2 500mm per year in this area. |
