| 80 years ago, to avoid the Earth's dying environment, the nations of the Earth sent out space colonies to protect thier populations. To avert all-out war, they organized a contest to allow one nation to rule supreme every four years. Using gigantic, powerful fighters called "Gundams" the Earth below, along with its remaining population, was turned into a giant arena for these "Gundams" to fight to rule supreme. Seven rules were organized to ensure the fight was fare, though these rules were not very strict. 1. Damage on the head results in immediate disqualification 2. Never attack your opponents cockpit 3. Fighters damaged in any part of the body except the head may repair the damage and continue to compete. 4. Gundam Fighters must protect their own Gundams at all times. 5. All battles are on a one-to-one basis. 6. Gundam Fighters must not damage nor mar the honor or dignity of the nations they represent. 7. The ring for each battle is the whole Earth. These are the basic rules. The final surviving Gundam wins the tournament and his nation leads all. In the year 60 FC, Future Century, the 13th Gundam Fight begins. The Gundam Fighters,pilots of the Gundams, fight until one is left standing and that Gundam's country rules the space colonies. The Fight takes place on Earth and the Fighters are from colonies that are in space. The reason for the colonies is that the Earth has become so polluted that people have to leave Earth. However, only the rich live in the colonies so, the poor people on Earth are at risk. This time around something was different. Domon Kasshu and his Shining Gundam, the representatives of Neo Japan, also seem to be searching for something else. That something would be a man named Kyoji and a Gundam called the "Devil Gundam". By the end of that year the Devil Gundam had been found and destroyed almost along with the Earth itself with the combined efforts of all the nations together as the united World Gundam Federation. Though peace was believed to have bene acheived and though all the nations had fought against the greater evil it was hard to maintain a joint custody of Earth and the nations. 20 years have passed since then and the Nations can stand it no longer and now once agian the Gundam Fights are to begin. The Nations have selected their representatives and crews, Gundams have been built and now are ariving upon Earth to do battle and not be interfered upon by the Dark Gundam this time... or are they? Sore de wa, Gundam Fight! Ready, GO! |
