| November 26, 2003 How often have I started off a blog entry by saying "My, it's been a long time since I wrote a blog entry!"?! It's been a busy, momentous year, so I suppose I can forgive myself for not keeping up my online journal..... Alrighty, first and foremost, saw Fin and the whole BNL bunch. It had been far too long between visits, and was just terrific to catch up. Next big news is that Sergei and his lovely young girlfriend are expecting. I guess as they have now made the official announcement, it's no biggie if I make a cyber post about it. Looks like he gets to be a daddy after all, a role I am positive he will excel in! The baby has great genes on both sides, so should also be as beautiful as the day is long.... Mom is feeling fairly well - but my Aunt has had a mini-stroke. We're going to travel to the Soo to shop and visit, but won't go until just before Christmas - let Thelma get her strength back. I suppose it's beginning to feel like CHristmas - put up my lights, the tree, and as if to complete the effect, it has now started to snow quite a bit..... now to start thinking about shopping.... ugh! |
