So far, 2008 has been a great year for me! I've had a wonderful time performing at some truly remarkable events across the Pacific Northwest on my 2008 Recession Tour. My calendar here at Geocities is one of the more challenging to update. For my latest calendar dates check my MySpace page first.

Again this year, I'll be playing melodies with my musical saw and preachin' the gospel of garage sales, with twisted tales, new & used blues, and hokum nonsense songs using my homemade 'Nobro' guitar. Look for me on the street at the Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle throughout 2008.

If you'd enjoy having me perform for your event, public or private, you can reach me via the email address on my Contact page. You can also find me performing at the following special events.

I'm very pleased to announce that I will be hosting My 6th Annual How To Make Music With A Hand Saw Workshop on Saturday, May 24th at 12:00PM @ the Lopez Room during the 2008 NW Folklife Festival. This is a free event.

Yes, I'm very excited to be hosting My How To Flex Razor Sharp Spring Steel Betwixt Your Knees, And Walk Away With All Your Appendages Still Intact Workshop. After several years of record attendance, my pleas for a larger space have finally been answered. This year the workshop has been moved to what I hope is a larger and more accommodating location, The Lopez Room, located in the northwest corner of the Seattle Center. Look for me there on Saturday May 24th at 12 noon. (BYOSB&B) Bring your own saws, bows and bandaids, if you've got 'em, but know that I will also be bringing extra saws, bows and bandaids for participants to use during the hands on and hands off portions of the workshop.

All attendees will learn the basics of this curious, true, folk art, one that has been 10,000 years in the making! That's right; you can learn to play beautiful music with a common hand saw! Finally, you too can annoy guests at folk parties. Thrill, amaze and torture your friends and relatives with the eerie tones and subtle timbre of the saw! With your new found skill you'll be able to frighten small children, scare neighborhood pets and befuddle local wild life! There's no end to the fun you can have!!!

New this year, each attendee to this year's workshop will receive a valuable How-To instruction booklet that I've lovingly prepared, absolutely FREE. In it, I offer you all of my personal tips and strategies on how to make millions of dollars a year playing folk music with a hand tool. I reveal all the secrets of this folk art in difficult to understand language and blurry photos, in this almost nearly fully hardly illustrated work. Yes, I've done all of the hard work, so, you won't have to. I've spent countless hours of mind numbing introspection to bring to you the benefits of my 15+ years as a pre-fessional sawplayer in this boring to read publication. I guarantee that if you're not 100% satisfied, you'll receive a full refund of the purchase price. (minus shipping, handling and a 15% restocking fee)

With my foolproof system anyone, yes, I said anyone, can learn, as I have, to produce a prodigious palate of pleasing panache in five minutes or less! That's right! I said five minutes or less! (Actual time may vary)

You too can proudly provide a vicarious vaudevillian daredevil bloodlust experience with each attempt to tame the unruly blade. In no time you'll gain the critically acclaimed capability to coolly coax complex collections of cutting edge, cornball curiosities and colorfully comical, crackpot compositions via the confidently controlled contortions of the cruelly capricious and cantankerously caterwauling crosscut in a cantabile cadence, or my name isn't Daredevil Reggie Miles! (Disclaimer: My name isn't Daredevil Reggie Miles and many body parts don't grow back.)

Sawwwwwwwwwwwwww ya there!vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

I'll be performing Look for my bottleneck blues performance with my homemade "Nobro" recycled junk art resophonic guitar at the 2008 NW Folklife Festival on Saturday, May 24th at 2:20PM on the Alki Court Stage. This stage is located in the northwest corner of the Seattle Center grounds near the wading pool. Yep, my homemade garage sale junk art "Nobro" guitar is still going strong after 15 years and sounding as sweet as ever. I'll be playing all new original folk/blues, novelty songs, and seriously social selections from my 3 latest releases. This is a free event.
