I'll be playing melodies with my musical saw and preachin' the gospel of garage sales, with twisted tales, new & used blues, and hokum nonsense songs using my homemade 'Nobro' guitar. Look for me on the street at the Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle throughout 2007. If you'd enjoy having me perform for your event, public or private, you can reach me via the email address on my Contact page. You can also find me performing at the following special events.

Saturday and Sunday, May 5th and 6th 2007 at 2PM You'll find me performing @ SAM (Seattle Art Museum) at 1st and Union, Seattle, Washington 98101.

The reopening of the newly remodeled and expanded Seattle Art Museum will be taking place on the first weekend of May. As part of the celebration visitors will be treated to performances by a variety of Seattle area buskers.

Look for me playing at 1st & Union, near the main entrance of the museum, from 2 - 4pm.

I'll be doing my best imitation of the Hammerng Man, except I'll be playing a saw. I'll also be pickin' my homemade resophonic bottleneck slide Nobro guitar to crank out my favorite new and used blues and novelty songs for this occasion. My guitar is actually an art piece as well, a found object functional art sculpture constructed out of misc. junk I've collected at garage sales.

On Sunday May, 20 2007 4:30PM I'll be at The Allegro Coffeehouse Annual Celebration in the University District in Seattle, Washington. The cost of this all ages event is free.

This annual event is happening in conjunction with the University District Street Fair. The Allegro is one of the oldest continuously operating coffeehouses largely serving the University's student population. They have a second story room that hosts this music event which will feature an array of individual artists and bands performing throughout the weekend, both Saturday and Sunday from 1-7:30PM. This is my third invitation to participate in this celebration of the Allegro's longevity.

You can catch me playing on the street as well, as I'll also be busking at the U District Street Fair this weekend. It is one of my traditions that I've been actively participating in since my arrival here in the Northwest in 1978.

If you'd enjoy having me perform for your event, public or private, you can reach me via the email address on my Contact page.

On Saturday May, 26 2007 12:15PM look for me at Cafe Impromtu (in the lobby of McCaw Hall) on the Seattle Center grounds Seattle, Washington 98109. The cost for this all ages event is free.

I just received confirmation that I'll be appearing at the 2007 Folklife Festival. I'll be playing at a wonderful indoor venue called The Cafe Impromptu. I was thrilled to get this stage a couple of years ago and happy to be able to return to play it again this year.

This quiet, out of the way, indoor concert venue is a refreshing respite and hosts a perfect listening environment. The seating is plentiful and comfortable too.

If you'd enjoy having me perform for your event, public or private, you can reach me via the email address on my Contact page.

On Saturday May, 26 2007 3:30PM I'll be at the Seattle Children's Theater (Room West) on the Seattle Center grounds in Seattle, Washington 98109. The cost for this all ages event is free.

It's The 5th Annual 2007 How To Play Music With A Hand Saw Workshop! Yes, once again the folks who organize The Northwest Folklife Festival have shown great wisdom and foolhardy courage to allow me to host my fifth annual musical saw workshop. Come early to reserve your seats because last year's workshop became a standing room only event. (Well, actually those who got tired of standing sat on the table tops, the floor, the windowsills etc.)

We had nearly 100 folks of all ages show up to learn the secrets of how to unlock the eerie tones and subtle timbre of the unruly blade. Thrill your friends with this new found skill!!! You'll become an instant hit at every party!!! Men, women will swoon over you! Women, men flock to you as they never have before!! See the magic of the saw work wonders in your life! Its sonic healing properties will cure all maladies and infirmities!! Saw ya there!

If you'd enjoy having me perform for your event, public or private, you can reach me via the email address on my Contact page.

On Saturday June 2nd 2007 at 1 PM I'll be playing the Buskers Stage @ 2007 Pike Place Market Festival at the Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington 98101

Look for me and other buskers all day long on both Saturday & Sunday June 2nd and 3rd at this stage set aside for those who participate in the time honored tradition of presenting entertainment on the streets there and elsewhere. Busking is the world's oldest form of entertainment for fair exchange. I think it's wonderful that the Market has honored this group of entertainers with a special stage at this year's event to feature the many acts that have spent so much time and energy giving to the community there. I'll be hacking away on melodies with Rusty my singing song and preachin' new & used blues during my 45 minute set. Expect plenty of bad puns, hand saw hokum and honest to goodness frothing at the mouth bottleneck blues.

If you'd enjoy having me perform for your event, public or private, you can reach me via the email address on my Contact page.

Every Saturday during the summer season this little farmer's market is host to a choice array of homegrown and homemade delicacies to tempt your taste buds. They feature the finest organically grown foods and the best farm fresh fruits and veggies. This is THE place to shop on Saturday morning in Mount Vernon. While you're stocking up and munching down on the wonderful fare they offer there don't forget to say hello the fellow doing the Tarzan yells whilst strumming his homemade guitar and bending his saw blade for your entertainment. That'll be me. ;o)

On the weekend of July 13th 2007 I'll be hangin' at the Oregon Country Fair just outside of beautiful downtown Veneta, Oregon 97401

Yes, I'll be in hippie heaven in 2007. It's a magical place. Look for me busking on the many trails there during the day, hangin' around the musician's campfires at night and tryin' my best to always leave a smile in my wake.

This annual event is a celebration of the community and surrounding area artists and and artisans. Set in the beautiful town of Index, a better backdrop for this event would be hard to find.

On Sunday August 12th 2007 at 2PM I'll be on the Main Stage @ Northgate Family Festival 10330 Meridian Avenue North in Seattle, Washington 98133

The 3rd Annual Northgate Family Festival is a community family event. So, I'll be on my best behavior with Rusty my singing saw on hand and my homemade 'Nobro' geetar at the ready. Listen for me preachin' new & used blues, dusting off hokum novelties that I've gleaned from years of excavating mountains of old 78 rpm records at your gargae sales and honkin' out original gems inspired by the same. This sounds like a fun time for everyone.

If you'd enjoy having me perform for your event, public or private, you can reach me via the email address on my Contact page.
