Employee Schedule
The Employee Scheduling program was created for medium sized businesses such as a restaurant to manage employee schedules and vacations. It was built by me for a Computer Engineering Graduate Course in Database Design. The standalone program was constructed using Java to run in a Windows environment. The graphical interface is based in Java GUI and uses JDBC SQL statements to interact with a Microsoft Access Database. Mimic
Mimic is a Java and Visual C++
based program, which will record keyboard and mouse sequence to a
file. The keyboard and mouse sequence can be scheduled to play at
two different times. I was inspired to learn something about
Visual C++ drivers and how they could be linked to a Java program.

Xcrypt
Xcrypt is a simple encryption program
written in Java. It can be used to encrypt and decrypt lines of
text for use in a text messenger. It also can be used to encrypt
and decrypt files. I was interested in creating my own password
based data encryption scheme. See if you can figure out how
it works. The text encryption is different from the file
encryption.

GPS Paper Project
I took a Graduate course in Advanced
Microprocessor Systems and we had to create a microprocessor based
design, which utilized GPS. I chose to create a device similar to
a palm which was capable of playing back video and music in addition to
supporting GPS mapping. Sorry there is no software here, but it
does demonstrate some high level hardware design skills.
