My Sophomore Year . .
|
|
After a summer in Korea, I came to Yale eight pounds lighter and leaner.
I began training again, probably more heavily.
I also began lifting with my best friend, Dylan.
Basically, I spent lots of time at practice or the gym and going out on the weekends.

Since my closest friends still lived rather close again, I also spent lots of time hanging out in their room.
We grew closer together from our times out to our meals together.

Not all was as happy as my first year.
In mid-September, I received a call from a close family friend that my grandfather had passed away.
I think that much of my sophomore year was spent in contemplation of the meaning of life.
It was a confusing time in general for mostly everyone I knew.
After the year ended, I went to Texas to work for Samsung and soon thereafter decided with my parents to leave school and stay in Korea for the next year.
