Bea (pronounced 'BAY-AH') - as her family and friends call her - grew up the first sixteen years of her life in Roma with her family. Her father deliberately never never told Bea or her three older sisters about what the family did for a living because of on-going bad feelings between him and his father, and she was kept in the dark her entire childhood. She only escaped the Andrasta massacre because she was still on holidays when her family was killed. Her sister Renee had a friend over the night and the vampires, thinking the fourth girl was Antonio's fourth daughter never cared to look for her.

Once orphaned she went to live with her mother's sister in Florence, and then moved to England for finishing school and university. She attended University at New College in Oxford and went into business law, using the inborn business sense and contacts she inherited from her father to become a junoir partner by the time she was 27. Bea used many of her contacts to finance her life as a watcher and to keep herself and her cousins out of trouble.

She married at 21 and she and her husband Andrea Troisi (a sixth cousin) had a son - Antony Fabrizio - within the year. That year she also finally found out about her family and the reason for the massacre and managed to track down her long-lost aunt Valeria in Sardinia. With Valeria, Bea got her first taste of training and was soon training - much to her husband's chagrin - with some of the Council's best. Despite trying to understand the why's and how's of his wife's new obsession, Andrea couldn't cope with it and the marriage quickly started to disintigrate. The strain of fighting over Bea's new chosen vocation was too much on the marriage, and the two seperated after four years. Bea continued to train while Andrea took their son and moved from London back to Arezzo, Italy and the two waited for Papal permission to devorce. Since then she had buried herself in her duties as a demon hunter and her remaining family. She and Gio are very close, as are she and their youngest cousin - Ava De Luna.

Beatrice Troisi has an air about her of a true aristocrat - a true Troisi.  She is calm, composed, methodical and even cold in demeanor with just about everyone. The quintessential business-woman. Bea is not a cold fish though. She is a passionate, fiery, and even slightly kooky person with a raucous sense of humor and a love of family and fun. She is a clear and calculated thinker, and an infamous improviser when she has. She fights with blades - as do most Troisi - and carries a Kris and a short sword with her while hunting.

Beatrice is a striking young woman of 29. She is an imposing and regal beauty despite her stature (she's only about 5'6" - short for a Troisi). She has wide grey eyes and thick black hair (a Troisi trademark) that she rarely wears much longer than her shoulders and usually has pulled back. Bea holds a very upper-crust and distant air about herself that adds polish to her features, and she acts like she's all business when she's not with family or friends.

She and her favourite cousin Gio live in a small two bedroom apartment in Little Italy for now and while Gio still continues to take orders from the Di Nerezza, Bea is in contact with Arnand and works with the legitimate watchers. She misses her son horribly but for his own safety doesn't speak with him, instead letting Andrea and his new wife take care of him and give him as normal a childhood as possible.
