Warrior Christian Defined:

Okay... no messing around. Let's get right to the point. A "warrior christian" is someone who has prepared themselves for war for the glory of God. Why should they prepare themselves? Well... God usually makes that appearant to the warrior, and sometimes they differ in the reasons they fight. One may fight to protect people for the glory of God. Another may feel he needs to fight "just because God says." Personally, (and you'll see this rather typically) I fight because God felt the need to give me talents visible on the battlefield. He saw fit to bring me up in a state of preparedness, so I feel he wants me to fight. And because I love him, I will fight for him. But as stated earlier, the reasons for fighting may differ quite a bit.

Warrior christian means exactly what it says. A warrior christian is a christian warrior. It doesnt get any more black and white than that.

"Praise be to the LORD my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle" Psalms 144:1

Warriors have been called upon for centuries to claim, or protect things that they hold dear to them, for the sake of the glory of God, the greater good, or just the satisfaction of their commander. What drives them to fight can differ drastically from one warrior to another. But the important thing is that they all have the drive to fight. And dont fool yourself, you cant fight a war half-hearted.

So... some of you may be asking, "Am I a warrior christian because I know how to fight?" Well, that depends on a few different things. Firstly, is your lifestyle that of a warrior christian? Are you mature enough to dedicate your life to the aspects of christianity, and through that to the aspects of being a warrior? Chances are that if you're reading this article, you already have. But for those of you who havent, I'm going to quote another scripture for you. If you look at it once a day, imagining what the old isrealites must have felt hearing it, it will drive you to prepare to fight for the glory of God.

"Proclaim among the nations:
Prepare for war!
Rouse the warriors!
Let all the fighting men draw near and attack.
Beat your plowshares into swords
and your pruning hooks into spears.
Let the weakling say,
"I am strong!!"
Come quickly, all you nations from every side,
and assemble there.
Bring down your warriors, O LORD!"
Joel 3:9-11

For the glory of God!
