LIVE  AND  STUDIO  SETUP

HOME

For live and studio work, Nick is using a Parker guitar fitted with Bare Knuckle Crawler pickups and a piezo transducer, allowing quick change over from conventional electric sounds to clean acoustic effect.  Also a Jackson Fusion Superstrat with a mid range sweep for tone flexibility.
Electro Acoustic as needed

Pre-amplification is by means of a Hughes and Kettner Tube ....

Processing is carried out by a Roland GP100, rack mounted & controlled by MIDI foot controller for Patch changes and Real time control & modifications.

Power Amplification consists of Marshall 20/20 valve amp feeding 2 x Rocktron Velocity 12 inch speaker cabs - one fitted with a piezo for acoustic highs.

For environments where further backline amplification is needed, a SoundTech Power Amp feeds a Marshall 1936 2 x 12 cabinet.

Also an Able  Bassmaker Pedal ....a device which can put a chord bass note out through a separate bass amp.

This is normally connected together by lots of pretty wires, a torch and pretty choice words
