Nick started playing guitar at 11. Since then, his musical interest has constantly grown and developed for a wide range of genres, resulting in an array of live & studio work as well as writing, arranging and teaching.

Having been influenced by many music styles including Funk, Rock, Jazz, Pop, Latin & Blues, Influences in playing and writing - David Bowie , The Sweet, Garbage , Average White Band , Martin Taylor, Radiohead , Rory Gallagher , Brian Robertson , Sheryl Crow, Andy Summers, Chic, Nazareth, Reeves Gabrels , Del Amitri, Cardigans,  T-Rex, Deacon Blue, John Scofield, Tracy Chapman, Reef , Steely Dan, The Blockheads, Jonny Lang, Miles Davis, Mick Ronson, Sam Brown, Bad Co, Joan Osbourne, The Cars, Stephen Rothery, Simple Minds and more.

Using  a diverse range of influences like the above, writing and recording the innovative album "TAMASHA" has taken up much of the 21st century producing a collection of tracks as an attempt to be equally diverse and varied.

By calling upon such a fusion of textures, Nick  has developed his own unique playing and writing style from blistering energy funk & rock.... to subtle jazz tonality ballads.

Studying at the London Music School , with contemporaries from all over the globe, was to prove to be a real  ear opener - due to all the different influences and backgrounds . 
The LMS  had quite a weighting upon jazz which Nick seeks to integrate into his playing.
