Early in July 2003, Reproductive Biology Research Unit at the University of Saskatchewan reported findings of "waves of follicular devopment" in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine journal "Fertility and Sterility" (vol. 80, No. 1, July 2003). When the secular press got hold of this information, there were erroneous reports that women could ovulate several times in any given cycle and therefore natural methods of family planning were now proven to be unreliable. Yet, when Georgetown's Institute of Reproductive Health reported on the same journal article, they said it confirms what we already knew - that the event of ovulation only occurs one time per ovulatory cycle.
