 About Us

My first experience with PC video games was way back in 1982, when my 2nd grade computer class introduced us to the wonders of The Oregon Trail. I was hooked. As time progressed, so did the technology, which brought us such wonders as Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

I also played console video games, such as Nintendo’s Mario Brother series, The Legend of Zelda, and others, and enjoy the advancements through the various X-Box systems. But PC games hold a special place in my heart, as I have dedicated my career to the construction of PC systems, as well as web and database programming. Click here to see a game I wrote.

My current favorites include Descent 3 by Outrage Entertainment, Fallout New Vegas (developed by Bethesda), and Skyrim (also by Bethesda).

Fortunately, my wife is also a gamer. She discovered the joys of The Oregon Trail as well, but didn’t have as extensive a collection of games as I did…. until college. The fall of 1999 brought her over to the gaming Dark Side, with dorm-wide Tekken 3 competitions and far too many late nights.

Fast-forward a few years (pre-Facebook), and she discovered the joys of web-based games, like Pogo.com, which only became possible with the widespread adoption of high-speed internet connections. There’s something quite satisfying about being able to connect with someone in another time zone or country to play Backgammon at 3am.

Her current favorites include Eden Eternal (an MMORPG on Aeria Games), Fish Tycoon (developed by Last Day of Work) and Candy Crush Soda Saga (on Facebook).
