ARCHIVED SHOWS OF THE WEEK - February 1999 TV Show Results!

WWC Tragedy TV Results
February 16, 1999
Live - Fargo, North Dakota

-The show was Pre-Empted due to a Televised Special! But here are the results, and boy was it a wild show!!!

-Jon Massey Interview
-The show begun with a Jon Massey interview. Massey made his way out and told the fans in the arena to order Fatal Friday 4 on Friday night because it will be the end of Rancid. He says it amazes him that the death of Rancid will occur in a mere three days. Jon then began to talk about last week's Tragedy, and blamed the Nuthouse for ruining everything. Jon called out the Nuthouse and told them that they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, and he understood that. But then he said that they would be punished for it, and later on the evening, after they've been through all there matches, they will come out and face the Z-Gang in a street fight. Massey said that he was throwing the Nuthouse at the Z-Gang as bait to hook Rancid for Friday night. He then left the ring.

-Punk Rocker [v] The Emperor
-In the opening match of the night, Punk Rocker anihiliated The Emperor in under two minutes with the Rocker Dropper. After the match, Punk Rocker began to beat on The Emperor, saying he was sending a message to Chainsaw Charlie. As he beat on him, Charlie ran down and chased Punk Rocker out of the ring. Charlie then took the mic and told him to "prepare to get cut up on friday night!"

-Three Way Dance
-China Konnection [v] Insanity Incarnate [v] Zanthrox/Malibu
-The next match of the evening was a special three way dance between three of the top teams in the WWC. Insanity Incarnate won the match when Maniac pinned Zanthrox in about six minutes. Only three minutes into the match, Meng Da and Xu Jing began arguing with one another and it turned into a brawl between them both! Then, a few moments later inside the ring, Malibu Savage shoved Zanthrox into Maniac who chokeslammed him to the mat, scoring the pinfall.

-Jago Ripley & The Beast [v] Jayson Damiento & Mercury
-The next match of the night was yet another tag team match with Jago Ripley and The Beast taking on Jayson Damiento and Mercury. Beast and Ripley made quick work of Damiento and Mercury as Beast pinned Mercury after the Beast Basher in three minutes. Immediately following the bell, Insanity Incarnate ran out and attacked the two men! This prompted Ice Blast to come out, which prompted The Electric-Head and The Madhatter to come out and all eight men fought it out in a huge brawl until they were pulled away by security.

-An Interview with Bill Devons
-Bill Devons made his way out next and conducted an interview with Storm Richards. He told the crowd that if they ever order any wrestling event, order Fatal Friday 4. He said that the match that he and Shane Stud will have will be like no other match see before. It will be one for the ages, and it will be an epic battle. Bill then said that one man is going to be walking out of Portland, retiring from the sport forever.

-Jack Hunter [v] Red Rose Disaster w/ Tom Stephenson
-The next match featured Jack Hunter taking on Red Rose Disaster, who Tom Stephenson hired as a hitman to take out Hunter before the pay-per-view. The two men got into the ring, and about two minutes into it, Stephenson grabbed a chair and went up to the apron. As RRD irish whipped Hunter in, it was reversed and Stephenson accidentally nailed RRD with the chair. RRD fell forward and Hunter planted him with a DDT and scored the pin. After this, Stephenson entered the ring and nailed Hunter with a chair. He then picked Hunter up and piledrived him onto the chair before leaving through the crowd.

-Revelation [v] Frantic
-The next match featured Revelation taking on Frantic, in a non-title, normal matchup. Revelation was in a must win situation as he needed to win this match in order to get the Hardcore Title shot at Frantic on Friday night. The two men went back in forth in a great matchup, but after about seven minutes, the referee was knocked out and a masked man entered the ring. The masked man cracked a steel chair over the head of Frantic, which led to Revelation getting the pin and gaining the title shot. Before Revelation could get up to have his hand raised, and before Frantic was revived, the man had disappeared through the crowd.

-Four Way Dance WWC World Tag Title Match
-Attitude Adjustment [v] Ice Blast [v] The Nuthouse [v] The Party Animals
-The next matchup was a four way dance for the WWC World Tag Team Titles. It was a wild matchup as all four teams went at it from the start and the ref could not restore any order. The Party Animals brawled with Attitude Adjustment while Ice Blast and the Nuthouse collided. This led to an all out war with all eight men being counted out. The referee ruled it a No Contest as security came to separate the brawling.

-Jon Massey Interview
-Jon Massey made his way out once again and "thanked" all the fans who voted him 1998 E-Wrestling "Man of the Year". He then said it wasn't the fans, but it was him personally, because he did it all himself. He then said that Kevin Beck never once was "Man of the Year" and said that he would show Beck why he is the man of the year. He told Beck to get ready for Friday night, because he's in for a huge suprise. Massey then introduced the Z-Gang who made their way out.

-No Rules Street Fight
-The Z-Gang [v] The Nuthouse
-Following the Z-Gang, the Nuthouse made their way out, running to the ring. They were already worn down from their matches earlier in the night and were attacked by the Z-Gang early on. The match went to the outside, with the Z-Gang beating down on the Nuthouse. They bloodied them up and left them laying in the aisle as a message to Rancid. All of a sudden though, the Z-Gang took each member of the Nuthouse and took them to the back where a huge hole was setup in the back of the arena, with big mounds of dirt around it. They threw each member of the Nuthouse into the hole but Whipz then said that the hole would not be covered until Rancid was in it. He told Rancid to prepare for Friday night, and accomplish what he wants to in the last three days of his life.

-Hell In a Cell Two Against One
-Rancid's "Tune Up" Match
-Rancid [v] Chainsaw Charlie & JaMeS RioT
-The cage was lowered and it was time for the Hell in a Cell match. Rancid made his way out followed by Chainsaw Charlie and JaMeS RioT. RioT took the mic inside the cage with him and told Chainsaw Charlie that they should both give Rancid the night off, since he has his toughest fight ever on Friday night. He told Charlie to just exit the cage with him and call the match off. Charlie grabbed the mic and said that he was there for a match, and that's what was going to happen. Then Charlie told RioT, "Let's make it a three way!" and RioT agreed! RioT tried to look out for Rancid during the match as he worked on Charlie rather than Rancid but Rancid didn't want his help or ask for it. Rancid kept coming back and beating on both men but RioT refused to beat on Rancid. The match was awesome and brutal and went on for a mere twenty minutes. In the end, Charlie had attacked Rancid but RioT approached Rancid to see if he was okay. Charlie then grabbed RioT and nailed him with the Chainsaw Cutter, as Rancid watched and didn't make a save. It was unknown if he chose not to make a save or couldn't make the save in time. Charlie left the ring with the victory, followed by Rancid who was taunted by the Z-Gang over the P.A. system as he left. As RioT laid in the ring recovering, an irate Jon Massey stormed out. With mic in hand, he told RioT that he was not booked for Fatal Friday 4 and demanded that RioT not show his face there! He told RioT that he ruined everything and for that he will be punished! Massey then left as RioT continued to recover in the ring.

-Main Event
-WWC International Tag Team Title Match
-Mad Dog Mortimer & Frat Boy [v] Shane Stud & Disturbed Youth
-After RioT made his way out and to the back, the cage was lowered and Veronica brought out the four participants for the main event of the evening. Stud and Youth made their way out first, followed by Mad Dog Mortimer and Frat Boy, suprisingly with separate entrances. The main event match itself was great, lasting about fourteen minutes, but saw constant bickering and arguing between Mortimer and Frat Boy. The two men continued to argue throughout the match, an irate Mortimer pushed Frat Boy off the apron over a small miscomunication problem. A few moments later, Mortimer went to make a tag to Frat Boy but Frat Boy nailed him and shoved him! Mortimer was then turned into a Belly to Belly Suplex from Shane Stud who scored the pin! Frat Boy refused to make the save and walked out in digust. Stud and Youth left with the WWC International Tag Team Champions and Mortimer made his way to his feet. He took the mic from Veronica and called out Frat Boy! Frat Boy stopped in the aisle and charged the ring, as the show ended.
