Product Info
Sarah is the person ultimately responsible for the creation of New Life Woolens in the Fall of 2003. She saw a passion and love for wool in another recycled soaker maker, Shana, and together they built this business as you see it today. They are women with integrity and will not sell anything they would not put on our own children.

It was a need to create, as well as a burden to use recycled items, that pushed them forward into selling the covers they now make. They worked hard to meld their unique styles to create covers that are functional, practical, and fun. Their work speaks for itself: simply beautiful! As time has passed they branched into providing crocheted items and eventually made their time tested patterns available.

Sarah is "Mommy" to 2 handsome, 8 year old, twin boys:  Tyler and Zachary.  She and her husband, Josh, welcomed their third child, Amber, into the world in September of 2005. They make their home in Washington state. Sarah is a very talented seamstress with over 6 years experience in sewing wool covers and over 5 years in doing appliques as well. Sarah really does turn your covers into unique works of art! She was the owner and creator of Woolybumbums. She has been dying and crocheting covers from her own designs for more than 2 years now.
Sarah is a Mother first and foremost and strives to keep her family as her top priority while balancing her work for the store. She has successfully cloth diapered and used recycled wool covers on all of her children with the majority of her wool being self-made. She produces quality items with love.

Shana is "Mama" to two beautiful daughters, Ruth who is7 years old and Miriam who is 5 years old. She and her husband, John, reside in beautiful Wisconsin. Shana has been sewing for over 5 years now and crocheting for more than 16 years. She has been dying her covers for over 3 years now and designing her crochet patterns for more than 5 years.
Shana is also a dedicated Mama who makes her family a priority as God would have her do. She is also an experienced cloth diaper and wool cover user as well. Initally her wool hobby-business was "Black Sheep Crossing" and she focused mainly on auctions at e-bay.

Since both women's ultimate responsibility is to their families, there may be times when deadlines are not met. They will keep you updated throughout all processing of your orders though and, should any need arise to change plans, you will be the first to know.  Their feedback page on e-bay reflect the high standards and quality items produced. Feel free to read the feedback for yourself!
