Liberty JHS BandThe Liberty Junior High Band is made up of Seventh and Eighth grade musicians. Students take band as an elective and have rehearsal during the school day as well as half hour sectionals once a week. The students perform complex music with and emphasis on excellence. The band gives two formal concerts, attends band contests each year, and performs in numerous parades and marching band events throughout the year. Concert Band enrollment: 61 |

Fundraiser InformationWe will kick off our Pampered Chef fundraiser at the mandatory band parent meeting on Tuesday, September 7. Information will be distributed to the students during class if you were unable to attend the meeting. PracticingAll Liberty Band students should continue to work on the marching piece, Patriotic Spectacular. Two new pieces, Sousa Spectacular and America The Beautiful, will be passed out during the week of Aug. 30. Students should memorize the two new pieces. Marching BandWonderful job at the Frankfort Fall Fest and the Manhattan Fun Day Parade! You looked and sounded great! Look for the parades on Channel 6. After School BandsJazz Band Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays 2:40-3:30 p.m. Pep Band will rehearse on a periodic basis starting in October. See Mrs. Clark for the complete Pep Band schedule. |
