Intermediate BandThe New Lenox Intermediate Band is made up of mostly Sixth graders and second year players. The band gives three formal concerts a year and one contest performance. In addition, the Intermediate Band students learn the fundamentals of marching and perform in numerous parades with the junior high students. Throughout the year, the students focus on tone production, scales, rhythms, and tuning to prepare for Jr. High Band. Please make note of these upcoming events. Fundraiser InformationOur first fundraiser of the 2004-2005 school year will be the Pampered Chef fundraiser. We will kick off this fundraiser at the mandatory band parent meeting on Tuesday, September 7. If you were unable to attend the meeting, the information will be distributed to the students during their band class.
