We offer a series of three seminars for teachers of Japanese as a foreign language.
Each course runs for 12 weeks, 2 hours each session, for a total of 24 hours.
Course I
In Course 1, participants experience samples of real learning activities.
Based on their experience in taking part in these activities, the participants learn the ideas and theories upon which these activities are based, the procedures for conducting the activities, and the materials which are necessary.
Course II
In Course 2, based on what was learned in Course 1, the participants learn how to use textbooks, make lessons plans, and design activities and materials.
Course III
Finally, in Course 3, the participants take turns teaching mock classes, focusing on how to organize and conduct lessons, how to make lesson plans, and how to design activities and materials.
