NewB is considering using the aircraft on road trips to visit friends in other cities or bring friends to visit. Wanna travel discretely, there is nothing like private flying on your own terms, to your own locations, on your own schedule.

Combined with speed, price and flexibility, the Baron allows flights direct to any of over 11,000 airports in the United States alone. When you combine flight schedules, time to and from major airports, security check-in, boarding and de-planing times on any major carrier, you will find that it is always faster to get there in a Baron unless you are flying long ranges, i.e, Chicago to San Diego.

Night departure. Rain showers. Snow, Ice, Low ceilings and visibility. The Baron 55 is equipped to deal with the elements. It offers the perfect balance of safety, speed, comfort, reliability, and style, for getting you where you want to go, when you want to get up to six people from here to there.

Traditional Beech quality is apparent throughout the Baron 55 from cockpit to cabin, to exterior styling and design. With full fuel, you can still carry up to 931 pounds of people or cargo and fly an amazing 1,530 miles with 45 minutes reserve! With an average cruise spped of 228 miles per hour, the Baron is an ideal partner to get you where you need to be, quickly, efficiently, and inexpensively.

A spacious passenger cabin is accessed through 45-inch-wide double doors. Club seating ensures passenger comfort, and all four seats are easily removed for payload flexibility.

In the cockpit, placement of all instruments, flight controls, avionics, switches, and environmental controls have been engineered to be within easy reach of the pilot. My Baron is equipped with Dual ILS instrumentation, Weather Radar, LORAN, GPS, and Dual Communications, Dual Navigation Radios, Intercom systems and the best in Aviation headsets for all seats.

The Baron rides smoother than any small plane that I have been in. Although some people may have concerns about small planes, rest assured that even in the unlikely event that one engine failed, the Baron can still fly its full range on only one engine. If both engines fail, it is much safer to land then any jet without power and can land almost anywhere.
