Misty Smith My name is Misty and I was saved when I was 9 years old. I have been in church my entire life it seems. To some people that would be boring, but to me it has been a blessing. Becoming a Christian at such a young age kept me out of a lot of trouble as a teenager. And for that I am eternally grateful. Whenever life gets hard for me all I have to do is pray to God for help. God is the only person that is guaranteed to always be there for you. Even when your friends an3d family turn their back on you, God will always be there for you. And unlike friends and family God doesn't scream, yell or criticize you. He forgives you for your faults and failures, and he always has unconditional love for you. My favorite scripture in the Bible is John 3:16-17. 16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. God is not here to bring up your bad points; he forgives and forgets them, forever. None of us likes to be reminded of things we have done wrong, but once you ask God to forgive you of all your past sins he never remembers them again. He is the best friend that we all are looking for. You can talk to him anytime, about anything or even cry and you never have to worry about him telling anyone.
