Background: The Templar was developed to replace the aging Intruder Mk. I unit, in response to the assaults launched by the more advanced NOVA assault forces. The former frontline mobile suit, had become outdated and performance issues were causing heavy losses on and off the battlefield. As such, Neverwinter ordered the IMSRD to develope a brand new mass production mobile suit, that could operate the Weapons Packs that the Intruder formerly operated. The High Templar, utilizes a different Comand Relay model, and equips the more advanced Dual Phase armor, making it more durable to damage.
