Once upon a time, I roleplayed. I think I did it more because my friends did rather than actually enjoying
the games themselves. You see, my friends used these games as an excuse to get together. We played,
but we didn't spend as much time on it as we could. Nevertheless, two games in particular captured my heart
for their atmosphere and general coolness, and my contributions to each game appear below. |
The Old Campaign: Once upon a time, a high school friend and I ran a campaign that didn't last very long.
What resulted ended up being a rather fun adventure for our group. This page
details the participants of the adventure. As a creative take on some of the main spots of the adventure,
I wrote a series of "newspaper articles" for the Aldorf Gazette that covered
the odd occurrences that resulted from the goings-on of our party. From kidnappings, naked elves, and princes
being put in their place, our group was in for a ride!
The Files:
- My Own WFRP Character Sheet: created in Excel '97 by me in 8.5" x 11" and A4 versions. Also
has versions of each with formulae to calculate encumbrance, encumbrance penalties, and capability to add stats.
Contains a tally box for the player to keep track of his/her wounds. Sections rearranged so that all similar items
are clustered together (e.g. personal information all together; weapons, armor, equipment together; assorted "points"
stats together). Also, everything is on one side of one sheet. Everything. Uses Garamond and Caslon Old Face BT
fonts.
- David Hatch's WFRP Character Sheet. He based his off of my rather-skeletal version available above.
Very nice-looking character sheet with a parchment background (apparently only shows on the screen and doesn't
print out as such; saves you the ink; your results may vary).
- David Hatch's Imperial Calendar : An Excel sheet that thoroughly
lays out the calendar for the WFRP world. Contains all months, days of the week, moon stages, and festivals.
Has room for characters' actions, weather for the day, notes for important events, sheet to keep track of
the hours of a day, and much more.
- Dwarven Insult Generator : program for the PC that randomly generates
insults for that charismatic dwarven character. The original table version can be found here.
- Rohrbach's Drugs and Poisons : document containing all the poisons
and drugs created by Dave Rohrbach. One file containing the document in Word6/95, HTML, and PDF format.
- Slev's Power Behind the Throne Handouts : Slev made these handouts to be used at the beginning of the Power
Behind the Throne adventure (just as the characters approach the entrances of Middenheim). A Word '97
document in A4 format.

While inspired, I created a character sheet in MS Excel. The other is a sheet made by a friend of mine.

- My Excel Character Sheets - created in Excel '97. It now contains sheets for spells. There are 8.5"
x 11" and A4 versions available below (for some reason, the A4 version doesn't show up as nicely as it should;
blame Microsoft for not making this consistent). Both files are Zipped. If there are any problems, let me know!
- Slev's PDF Gemini Character Sheet - Pretty much says it all. Gemini
character sheets minus the spellbook entries made by Slev, from the Gemini Mailing List. Nice border to each page
with an appropriate font. In A4 format only.
