Alan et al,

This is fantastic news! Efforts to find a copy here in the UK are still proving fruitless. I move to South Africa in three weeks' time, and I doubt my chances there will be any better, so the prospect of a reprint in February is marvellous. And maybe a film? I wait with bated breath.

How to get the word out ... Well it's a shame the re-publication isn't a couple of months earlier, otherwise I'd have bought everyone I know a copy for Christmas!

I met my wife in a bookshop where she used to work, and one of the things they used to do to promote new books was to give away the 'uncorrected proof' copies that invariably ended up cluttering the shop. We now have quite a collection, and I suppose some might be worth something one day. Point being, if the book was any good then we would pass the proof copy on to friends, or recommended them to buy the book once it was published. Hmm, I wonder if I could get my hands on a proof copy of CBs?

Another place to publicise both books would be at Amazon.com - if you read the readers' comments on the Cosmic Banditos page, there are a _lot_ of people out there looking for their own copy.

The best way to promote the book? Get the film made!

Hope this helps

Take it steady

James
