Edwin Booth, brother of the man who assassinated President Lincoln, rescued Robert Todd Lincoln from a train accident.

Robert Todd Lincoln is an Enigma in of Himself. He arrived at the assassinations of Three different Presidents, including his own fathers- moments after each occurrence, having been delayed for some matter or another on each occasion. Almost like Pop was still walking around the Earth looking after him.

 In 1881 he was the Secretary of War under James A. Garfield. Garfield had invited Robert to join him on a trip to Elberon, N.J., after which the President was then going to travel to a Williams College reunion. They were to leave from the Baltimore and Potomac railroad station in Washington, D.C. Robert Lincoln was running late, and arrived at the station just as the assassination of Garfield occurred.

 In 1901, President William McKinley invited Robert Lincoln to join him at the Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, NY. Again, Robert Lincoln arrived just as the President was shot. He joined the group of men surrounding the President shortly after the President had been mortally wounded.

Another unusual Coincidence associated with the Lincoln Scenario, is that most of the people were later confined to Mental Institutions. for some reason or another including Lincolns Wife - Mary Todd Lincoln. 

- Boston Corbett is identified as the man who killed John Wilkes Booth, against orders of his superior officer. He was arrested but subsequently cleared despite strong evidence against him.  However he later ran into more problems arising out of his "un-balanced" nature and was confined to an institution from which he escaped and disappeared by stealing a horse and riding off into the sunset and the archives of History.

-Major Henry Rathbone the man who was present with Lincoln in Fords Theater the day of the Assassination later murdered his wife- the woman who was his date on the fateful day {that's the official story anyway} and claimed that "they" were shooting toxic gases at him from the walls and driving him mad. He spent the rest of his days in a Mental Institution.

There are no such instances in the Kennedy scenario that I am aware of, although it could be argued that some of the people involved belonged in a Mental Institution.
