Shown below on this page is a portion of a "web site map."
"Web site map" is in quotes because many times a site
map is something that helps users navigate
a site. The "map" shown here is
for web site designers and developers and shows
all files
that make up a site and the
pages of that site. Another diagram, called
a block diagram, is also
used by designers and developers and
provides an outline of what pages
are in a site,
what they contain, and how they relate to one another.
