RELIGION:

Since the first tribes wandered across Europe and Asia, man has had a spiritual guardian and protector. He was intuned with the balance of good and evil, light and darkness, life and death, that balance that surrounds and flows thru all living things in nature. He was the one they called on when the spirits seemed angry and he was needed to calm the gods and goddess's and the spirits. He was the one to see visions and the one to feel the balance of the eternal mother. For many different peoples throughout many different geographic locations he has exsisted, weather it be in the form of a WICCAN, PAGAN, SHAMAN, DRUID, or HEATHEN.

Paganism can best be described as religion that is based on nature and the natural world which uses a pantheon of God's and Goddess's to represent functions of that said natural world. Many ancient peoples believed in what they could see and touch thru nature.They used deities as a way to bridge this gap between the world they knew and the forces contained within what they observed in nature.

When I personally think of druids and the druidic way in the world, I tend to visualize an old man in long flowing robes, with a cloak, in the mist of some enchanted forest. The druidic way is a path for many earthlovers. It is a path full of challenge and very real, very powerful magick.Druid's meet not in covens like witches, but in groves. Once again nature plays a key role in the individuals groves and in druidism.

Wicca is a relatively new religion only having been around since the latter part of the last century. It combines heathen and old pagan ways with a mix of eastern philosophy (reincarnation and karma). This page is a good place for novices and anyone desiring to learn more about the wiccan religion.
