Money is always in short supply and everyone always desires more. The internet provides us with an easy, inexpensive way to make money online. Whether we have always dreamed of having our own business, or having an outlet for our creativity, the internet is the future.
We can make money with what we already have by selling things on E-Bay. Whether it is to unclutter our house, to sell something we make, or to have a springboard for a new invention, the internet is where it is at.
Tired of moving stuff around in cluttered closets and having boxes of things packed away in the shed, I decided to clean house. But who is going to buy FAO Scwartz�s Phantom of The Opera Barbie Dolls that I paid $150 for in New York City I wondered? What to do with the Broadway Programs I purchased that have remained unopened since the night at the theater? Surely, these were items I wouldn�t be able to sell at a garage sale. I decided to see if there were any items like these on E-Bay and what they were selling for. Having never been an E-Bayer before I was skeptical.
I quickly realized one can sell virtually anything on E-Bay. And I did just that. From a twenty year old jean jacket to a broken camcorder to a pair of cowboy boots that needed to be resoled.
The Phantom of the Opera Dolls sold, and I was able to recoup about a third of what I had spent. Money lost, but they aren�t doing me any good taking up room in a storage box. A storage box that I had to buy to store my overflow of personal stuff! As for the Broadway Programs, they all sold as well.

Looking around my house I realized had I never bought anything I would be rich. Instead, money that should have been sitting in the bank was tied up in the things sitting on my shelves. Money already spent. Taking the stance that I have already spent the money, it would be more beneficial to sell the items for what I could, regardless of what I had initially paid. Especially with technology items, depreciation sets in fast so what you actually paid can be irrelevant.
Tastes change and my Marilyn Monroe Collectible collection had come and gone. With success on E-bay I am constantly eyeballing things in my house wondering how much that would bring on E-Bay. The lesson learned: Focusing on making money means you are not spending money.

I found myself browsing E-Bay for all sorts of things to fill my house back up! Keep your focus of making money and spending takes a backseat.
If you have ever dreamed of opening up your own business the internet is the place to do it. It is inexpensive to open up an online store, and you can even have www.yourbusiness.com. Designing your own web site can be done yourself with the online web page tools found on the web hosting sites, such as Yahoo! You don�t need anyone else but yourself and the drive. You can find a hot item and resell it or sell something of your own design.
If you are artsy and love to be creative let the internet be your access to the world. If you are an artist you can have an Artist�s Web Page and post pictures of your paintings for sale. If you design jewelry, you have an outlet to sell it. If you make homemade rag dolls, you have a place to connect to the world.
The internet is here to stay and making your mark can make you lots of money!
